Philanthropy

We are proud to announce that for the last 6 years we have raised the most money out of any other Panhellenic group on campus. This year we have raised over $43,000 so far.

The Alpha Phi Foundation supports women's heart health, leadership training, scholarships and funding sisters facing crisis. On campus each year, we hold Heart Week with the intent of educating fellow students on cardiac care. We also host our annual Alpha Phi Red Dress Gala, a silent auction fundraiser that many other Alpha Phi chapters have made their signature event.

  • Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in North America

  • 1 in 3 women will die from cardiovascular disease per year

  • Our chapter donates 50% of our proceeds to the American Heart Association and the other half to the Alpha Phi Foundation.

Red Dress Gala

Last fall, our chapter raised $34,546 for our Red Dress Gala (up from $27,500 in 2016)

Heart Health Week

This February, we raised $8,754 for our Heart Health Week (up from approximately $4,000 in 2017)
